Without expectation, there is no disappointment. All goals do is lead to disappointment, because you put these self imposed expectations on yourself. Then you end up in a negative downward spiral, where you’re wondering if you should just go and hang yourself.
Instead of thinking of how you’re not reaching your goals, why don’t you just toss those goals out the window instead?
They’re the underlying issue that has led you to exactly where you are in your life. It wasn’t you. It was your goals. Your goals that were impossible to reach, much like my prior goals.
I’ve never been able to attain any of my goals in life.
Not a single one.
However, I did hit 5 million views on here in less than a year and was able to attain well over 10k followers.
All by getting rid of those ridiculous things called goals and just taking baby steps in one general direction instead. Maybe you should do the same.
