Why It’s Easier to Give Advice to Others Than to Yourself

Implementation.

We all know what we need to do. We all know how hard it is. But, then we get discouraged. Telling someone else what their problems are and how to fix it is easy. All we have to do is speak the words. But then again, we always hear how talk is cheap.

To solve our own problems, we have to take things a step further. We have to take action. Let me say it again: action. That’s something that we all have difficulty in implementing. It takes an additional step. A step that can be quite overwhelming to perform, unless we get to a point where we are sick and tired of being sick and tired. Then, and only then does taking action seem to be less painful than being stuck where we are.
