Why Is It so Hard to Feel Happy?

It’s not.  It takes an interruption of patterns and forming new habits.  It takes time and dedication to move out of the process.  It’s not something that just happens overnight.

It might feel hard to be happy now, but that’s because you’re stuck in your current patterns, which probably involve negative thoughts.  The only way to solve this would be to interrupt the patterns then replace them with healthy patterns instead.

Examples of healthy patterns:

Positive thoughts.  Thinking of what you’re grateful for.  Volunteering.  Not feeling sorry for yourself.  Being thankful of what others do.  Trying to be a better person.  Self improvement.  Relaxing.  Avoiding negative situations and negative people.  Smiling.  Exercising.  The list goes on.
